Xbox gets Blu-Ray
Well we all knew it would happen....

XBOX 360 Finally Getting Blu-ray - Tom's Hardware

Looks like it gets here 3rd quarter this year. What do you all think? I am sure the Xbox owners will love it, but I think they should have fixed all of the hardware issues first.

any idea on the price? I didn't see it mentioned in the article you linked to.

I'm guessing that it will be the same cost as the previous HDDVD player, which was $200.

xbox 360 ($350) + blu-ray player (est $200) = $550
80 Gb Ps3 = $500

PS3 > 360.... yay!

My guess is $150-200 as well, but I have not seen anything on price yet. Don't forget, the Xbox is worth more than gold, so the owners don't care how much they pay to get something equivalent to the PS3, the Xbox will always be better.

(....Waiting for the comment about the game library since thats the only comeback)

I was thinking the same thing. I almost picked up a PS3 the other night, and now I'll just wait. That is unless they come out with a PS3 only God of War, then I will be forced to get it.

Metal Gear Solid anyone? GT4? Those two titles alone would be enough to have me go out and buy a PS3, but untill those titles come out, and i have an extra 500 bucks laying around, Im happy with my 360 and my gta4 and my cod4 and my halo3, and my forza and my ...... hahaha
