Firefox 3

Just downloaded Firefox 3 RC3 and it looks pretty cool. I might have to give up on using safari and go back to good old firefox. They made a ton of changes in the browser. Definitely worth checking out!

I just downloaded Firefox 3 also, and I like it very much, but I have always used and liked Firefox.

The are trying to set a world record for software downloads in one day. They declared June 17th Download Day for when they release Firefox 3 officially.

Yea, I have been using firefox for a while and the biggest problem I have had with it was its resource usage when browsing with multiple tabs so hopefully this will fix that issue.

I just installed RC3 too, so we will see how that goes.

darkvibe is on a distinguished road

i HATE the autocomplete in the address bar. if i start typing a URL show me the god damn urls that START with what i'm typing, not ones with those letters near the end of them and 2 letters in this word and 2 letters in that word. It's not a useless search engine for my history, it's auto-complete so complete my damn url.

edit: my dad sent me this in email...

Found this on the Jeep forum.

Try this:

Type: about:config in the url address bar and hit enter.

CLick on: Agree to be careful.

Find this on the list: Filter on browser.urlbar.matchonlytyped

Select the browser.urlbar thing and right click it and click on: Toggle so it changes to true.

I tried it, it puts the address bar back like the old version.
