I wouldn't run anything other than a sealed cell in the trunk, your trunk isn't sealed off from the cabin. And don't go anything smaller than 4ga, 8ga will fry, especially if you let your battery get a little low and you have to crank your engine for a little longer. The lower the voltage, the higher the current draw, and it's current that fries wires and connections, not voltage. I'd also try to run the wires on the outside of the car if possible, just in case all else fails and a wire still goes up in smoke. Once you light your interior on fire, you can kiss the whole car goodbye.

*edit* or you could just get a real car, like an M3, and your battery is already in the trunk. lol

like i said in an EARLIER POST, this is just for practice. its a Winter Beater.
no need for the "get a real car" comments

Thats also why im piecing the kit together. I work at pepboys. I get 20% off everything I need.

Jay, ill pry take u up on that battery box offer. ill be in touch.

Ill run a 4 guage wire, so i wont have a power problem. Theres NO stereo. just a deck and speakers.
