Any FI FTW. S/C's go bad just as easily as turbo's do

Travis, you know you can read CEL's with the Accessport, right?
There is also the list of codes in the back of the instruction booklet.

Lies. My blower went back to the manufacturer within 100 miles of easy driving. Superchargers suck.

AutoZone/Advanced Auto

Hell, I think Walmart sells an OBDII scanner.

Perhaps 188AWHP was too much for the block?

Oh the hilarity.

If I manage to get the Mr2 roadworthy again, I can't wait to make a ridiculously low power number and enjoy every bit of my weak ass, lumpy idling, slow car.

Oh and for the record, 9.4:1 AFR might be pig rich... but that's about how rich MY car gets at WOT from the factory. Goes below 10:1 and NO, it will not bore wash your cylinders dry or fuck your main bearings. You'd have to kick the shit out of the motor for hours continuously to get that much fuel in your crankcase but before that, your pistons would be in your oil pan.

I think the point is that if the WOT AFR is that fucked up, then perhaps the cruise AFR is as well. It wouldn't hurt to pull the oil or even check the dipstick if the tune is that far off. Also, 9.X AFR factory? Surprised it doesn't stumble getting into boost. That's ridiculously rich.

I am still wondering what that CEL is as well. He already bought a new turbo so I assume he pulled the turbo and diagnosed it?
