Anyone ever done a 5.0 swap??

I gotta 83 Mark VI Lincoln which has an old school throttle body style injection on it. Ugh, ugly and unresponsive, oh and i blew the motor. Anyway I just picked up a 91 Grand Marquis with the same 5.0 but it has the nice mustang style injection with the rail. Anyone ever done anything like this before? Just curious for any pointers or tips. I am figuring I'm gonna have to swap everything over, the engine, trans, harness, computer, tank and lines. It would be nice if the engine has its own subsystem IE: harness, engine, and computer....

I believe it is true with all fords, just swap the motor and wiring harness and ECU and it should work...

I swapped a 2.9Fi in my '83 ranger, originally the 2.8 carb'd, wiring harness was the same, just ECU was different, and I had to wire in the secondary, High pressure fuel pump...

Good luck, shouldn't be too hard...
