v-dub boost an giac flash loader

so i got my new boost gauge installed yesterday. Was very happy to see that stock i was hittin 15psi. What an underrated car. If anyone has any input about my next new part...the GIAC flash loader let me know....i have heard only good things so far..an i should be able to hit atleast 20psi with it. best bang for your buck

Wow. Didn't know they pushed that much boost stock? Stock fuel supports 20PSI with your mods?

Unlike our conventional fuel systems...the new 2.0T utilizes FSI ( http://www.audi.com/audi/com/en2/too...eline/fsi.html )The pump ie engine is capable of levels that would be equal to we Evo folks having the 255lph and 1000cc injectors. It is all controlled electronically via VAG or custom tuning software (GIAC, APR, REVO, etc...)

Also...13-15psi is perfectly normal for an OEM 2.0T FSI vehicle with the manual transmission. However, on DSG vehicles the numbers are typically 11-13psi as the DSG transmission from the factory is only rated for 300wtq and they wanted to give plenty of margin for error.

Yeah. Direct injection is ridiculous. The LNF sky redline motor runs 9.5:1 compression and 20psi of boost. All on pumpgas, with a 100k mile warranty.

Same deal with the mazdaspeed 2.3L turbo motor and the 1.6L turbo Minicooper motor. These things would be hand grenades without that direct injection, but with it... extremely efficient and much more capable.

but yes i am pretty sure that it will easily handle the 20psi that i am hoping it should hit since i am already getting 15 out of it. an i should be up around 260ishwhp an i think 250wtq if my numbers are correct...stock its about 220whp

Mazdaspeed 6's are fun to drive...

I was gonna buy one until I found out it was about $10k more than what i wanted to spend on a car, hahaha

wow... cuz every place I've looked rates the stock engine at 200chp. Most cars lose some power in the drivetrain... looks like vw found a way to gain 20hp though.... sweet!
