$400 ebc that has a spike limiter and won't need adjustment when outside air temp changes. Cheap insurance.

an SMT 6 is for fuel control, not timing... you can play with the maf but you can't really touch timing... the LSJ guys use to use them a lot before our tuning software came out.. they are ok and a little better then a SFAC but it's still a band-aid

never had any spiking problems with any mbcs that I had in 4+ years, but I not drive it in the winter when it gets real cold..... i dunno if that matters.

I've head too many horror stories with ebcs to fully trust them yet.

That forge Unos MBC is a piece of crap, which is unusual due to Forge's quality on the rest of their products....looks pretty but causes all sorts of issues down the road.

I'm so used to the Porsche crowd and really don't use BC's on these setups as I either install the correct rate EWG spring or reset through the motronic. Nothing to stick or go wrong. Very few guys running over 1.5 bar boost so springs and stuff are available for those boost levels.... On the EBC side of things though, the AEM true boost is a nice unit based off a duty cycle rate, not actual set boost level, and compensates a tiny bit for air density changes(altitude).
