Also, just an FYI I forgot to post above......all aftermarket pumps are built to run at 100% DC anyway so it's not going to hurt anything to do so. Doesn't mean some fluke thing won't happen and a pump just fail. Hence the no 2 pump rule for me.....unless your car is a 930 and has CIS
The way most cars are cheaply wired these days, any big build I do for a customer I build a dedicated 10AWG power harness(key on relay and fused) for the FP to ensure a full 13.5-14.4 volt feed with the minimal current loss possible. This 14AWG crap most cars roll off the line with these days is not recommended at all for the big pumps. Some of the really big pumps can draw upwards of 20amps at full load, that's taxing a 14awg circuit to the limits.....electrical fires are just as shitty as fuel fires

And how often are you at 19V (whatever high voltage #) anyhow?
Jay helped me quite a bit rig up my fuel setup and we used a good relay, thick 8 gauge wire, good grounds, and a nice fuse holder at the battery.
My original implementation was really thin wire until I remembered about draw. Surprised I am alive.

The car passed the ultimate test today... I drove 500 miles to Rochester and back. The car didn't skip a beat, and after some fiddling with cruise AFRs, I got 20mpg on the drive back. Made a bunch of 27psi pulls on the way up and back too... no issues.
