yes adam, i remember you telling me u thought it was getting cylinder wash and i def agreed. i would like to do the tgv deletes and get a bigger tmic as well as meth injection, but at the moment i will be content with where im at. as far as the 3" inlet.. i need it to fit the inlet of the turbo...forced performance in their great wisdom puts u between a rock and a hard place and theres only about 2 or 3 inlets that will work with it.. the perrin being the least expensive..and at the time of purchase.. i was sliiiightly behind the 8 ball..

Not really. go to high temp silicone and grab a 3" to 2.5" reducer. Then you can correctly fit a pipe that mates up to your turbo inlet.
Either way, best of luck with the new motor. Don't kill this one hope that bore wash didn't do you in.

chiming in!
Well i guess i may as well chime in whilst i recover from a buscher induced migraine. LOL. Anyways, yesterday afternoon, i prepped the rom for the tune and found the injector size to be off, fixing that and bat offset, instantly cleared out the misfire and the car stopped consuming fuel like it was. I think travis got about 8 mpg on the trip up here, i have done numerous pulls and have only used an 1.8th tank now! trav, youll be psyched about that if nothing else. Motor sounds wonderful, no noise at all that i usually associate with forged pistons ( i know i have forged cp's in the shop car and they irritate me to say the least) there are some roadblocks to moster power at this point, but as travis mentioned, its all going to come together down the line. i would do a monster topmount, or a front mount, tgv deletes and at least water injection, i think byrons sti put down 358 or 368 whp (corrected) on 23-24 psi and spraying water only. so standing at 328 (corrected) at 22 - 22.5 psi with no water on the stock topmount is pretty decent in my book. i think when i get the couple repaired/replaced and some good strong clamps, travis is goign to end up with a damn consistent and amusing car to get through the winter with, although it might need some snow tires for sure!
on a side note, i would definately have to lean towards severe over fueling as being the potential destructive force with the old block, if we are lucky we got it before it did any damage this time around, def goign to get at least a second oil change post tune.

I'm up there once or twice every few weeks to shoot the shit with Seth and work stuff with him. Justin is the same. Drop me a line and I'll let know know when we're going up again and you can hitch a ride. I'll be heading up there in the next 2-3 weeks likely to bring up the EG33 on a run rig so I can get sensor scope wave forms for Andrew @ Hydra EMS.

Fuck yea Clark, and if things keep going the way they're looking there's a slight chance I may have a complete car by summer's end. Just in time for some back road burning up at L.Placid

Hell yes, I am there.
When are you going to find the time to finish your car with all the E36s that will be at your shop? I'm still recruiting, btw. Lets do beers/dinner next week and we'll game plan cage stuff.

Watch me. Once I have that body i house, it'll be like someone touched off a nuke under my ass and I'll have that car rolling out sooner than you'd think. Things are falling into place on this project quicker than I can keep track.
As far as diner/beer...we'll be doing that this Saturday out in Saratoga....it's my 28th ya know

Damn man, gettin old! One of these days you'll have to decide what you want to be when you grow up.
I just drew a beer on the 12th on the calendar, figured that'd get the point across.
PS: Got vmail, will call back tomorrow.
