Damn RUST!

http://thomas.nmmr.org/ParisRebuild/dscf0041.jpg

Pulled the fenders to install my Siebon CF +20mm fenders.. This is what I found on both sides... around the welds... Anyone know how to fix this without messing up the welds?

Also got some mice in there from sitting all winter... SO I fed them bastards cheese on the end of a mouse trap...

but well worth the money. Think of it this way, Rust repair and panels are a lot more expensive.

Thats not even that bad either. Ived used this on my car and its still holding up after a couple yrs. $35 for a quart isnt really that bad. I mean it could be worse...

But Id recommend getting the starter kit from either POR-15 or from your local autobody. It will hold up MUCH better than just POR-15 by itself.

You can brush it on or spray it. Whatever you want to do. But if you brush it on, just make sure your wearing gloves, or else only time will take it off your hands if you get any on them. If you do, you can expect to wear POR-15 on your hands for a couple weeks haha

o yeah, and this stuff goes a long way. 1 QT did the underneath of my car twice and I still had half of it left. So really, youll need nothing that big unles syou plan on doing every part of your car...
