Sealing Headlights?

Hey guys, I just got these headlights...

They have these weird clips on them...

Looks like these are stock headlights that were baked apart to be painted black, and then clipped together. I don't want to get that condensation or water in there, especially if I'm going to be putting HID's in them. What do you think I should use? Clear RTV?

Thanks

yea i used black on mine as well and no water leaks.. but FYI those clips are OEM.. we have a bunch of headlights at work that have them on them stock.. mine included.. you might not need to.. try water testing them before you install them

Caulk? I think that's what I used when I had (GASP!) leaky altezzas back in the day.

A lot of cars have the metal clips OEM, plus the glue. Some good aftermarkets don't have glue, just a good seal and clips, so you can disassemble them.
