Big negative on this. Pure carbon fabric is not something you want to use in this nature. A 6K 5HS weave fabric would be the toughest against abrasion but you do NOT want bare carbon having the ability to strand off and get into your skin like a sliver. Getting CF in under your skin is 10 times more annoying and painful than fiberglass.

The closest thing you'll get to this is a fabric called CarbonX. It's used extensively in racecar bodies as a flame retardant material and can be worn as a cloth. New ultra temp fire fighter suits are made of this stuff. About $4 sqft from places that sell it in quantity.

You can always buy Kevlar and dye it like carbon. Nothing wrong with that at all, escept that it's not the pure carbon look...
