Nick- Last I heard you were doing some major money stuff on your teg. Thats a mega expensive strut bar. Fancy pants Mugen stuff?
House shopping next year means building the down payment is more important than mods.  Brew- The car is about the same as you saw it this summer. New motor, susp setup, rollbar, seats, etc. Not comfy on the street anymore, so it really only gets driven to the track and back. Mainly refreshing stuff over the winter, nothing new. Still yet to get to LVD or any drag strip for that matter. I went to MIR in MD to drag last year but it rained when we got there. You would've been proud, I was ready to go and everything.  I've been meaning to talk to you about something else too. Shoot me an IM when you're free sometime.

Brew, I will probably make a trip or 2 to LVD just for poops and grins. The more interesting question is rather or not you'd be interested in making a trip to drive with SCDA at one of the events we do this year

Justin - I was thinking about NHIS with SCDA sometime. How much seat time are we talkin?

Jesse - it's very difficult to say. I've had days where I only made a few laps and I've had days where I was consistently hot lapping and had to pull myself away from it all
All depends on the day/weather/attendance. TYPICALLY NHIS is one of their top selling events aside from LRP. The instructor will lead you for a couple of laps to give you a good driving line and then you're handed the reigns and lined up to go. Great instructors and organization. You won't be disappointed if you decide to follow through with it.

Justin- Is it an open track type group? Or is it all instructional? Never done the lead-follow routine. I havent been to NHIS all that much so I'd like an instructor to brush up on it, but I dont want to do 20 minute sessions, if ya know what I mean.

Jesse-I know exactly what you mean. It's an open track event but everyone has to do the instructor run with the recommended drive line to familarize themselves with the track on that paticular day. It's about a half hour track orientation but then after that it's all group lapping. Really a good setup if you ask me.
