Don't get the SAFC. There are much better choices. Get something with at least timing control.

If you're looking for something that can constantly change buy a Tactrix cable from http://www.tactrix.com and you can get e-flashes right through Buschur by DynoFlash. You plug the Tactrix from your OBDII to your laptop and just upload the e-flash. E-flashes are only around 50 each from either DynoFlash or Jestr Tuning. If you're going to be running the staged packages through BR I'd defenenitly stay with DynoFlash however as Al has worked along side them for quite some time. The SAFC is not very good if you're going to be running more HP as others have mentioned it has very limited control in the grand scheme of things. You need to figure changes to both requested boost, maximum duty cycle, overboost limit, turbo dynamics maps at all engine revolutions that make running a higher requested pressure on 93 octane safe (as well as 'safe' timing maps and fuel maps)... SAFC can't do all that. If you have questions about anything regarding the vehicle or flashing or in general feel free to pm me. I've pretty much dedicated my last year and 1/2 on the Evo and have become a real whore:P

There's the link to the cable you'd want for the EVO. The software you'd need to download the e-flashes once purchased is available at http://www.openecu.org Great for logging, too if you're into that. Enjoy  And like I said PM me if there's anything I can help with. Also, I'd recommend (if you haven't already) going to http://www.evolutionm.net and searching around for answers to any questions you have. There's a lot of bad information (as there is anywhere) but some very reputable information as well. David, Jarod, and the whole BR crew reside there
