I hate to defend a "rival" school, but I doubt that it sucks. I'm sure lots of people think RPI sucks also, and most of the time the people that think it sucks can't handle the workload and therefore drop out.

Workload did suck, but I was doing well in Mech Engineering which is by no means an easy major. But I just didn't feel happy there, it really is amisserable place, there is NO social life there at all, girls suck (the hot ones are deaf, haha), etc....

well if you hated it cuz of the workload and the slim selection of girls then you would have hated rpi even more.

I guess, I didnt say I would even consider RPI though. I have no intention of going there, my buddies tell me all about it.
At least they have a football team!! What kind of school with 16000 students doesnt have a football team??!!, I'll tell you, RIT....

anyone that complains about rpi is an unsocial slacker. Sure it's tough, but it's fucking college, it's not suppose to be easy.
There was always something going on...... I had a great time. no football team? that is pretty weak. RPI hockey is where it's at, everything else blows, but at least there are options.

true, RIT just went D1 hockey and actually played RPI a few times. That is the only sport worth watching at the school.
Yea, If you try you can find parties and other things to do, but it wasnt what I had in mind. Thats just me though. What was this thread about anyway??? lol
