Shadows Fall

This is a great band, I saw them live when Damage plan came to Northern lights two days before Dimebag Daryl got shot. They have some pretty sweet guitar rifs. If you like Metal you know who they are.
Check them out their albums are The Art Of Balance and The War Within.

Yeah I guess he just left Shadows Fall to go back to his original band, I forget what they are called tho. But I know one thing Shadows Fall better be back soon.

He used to play in a local hardcore band, right? I'm thinking it was either Stigmata or Burning Human...

I used to end up seeing Shadows Fall play all the time because they would always be on the bill with all the hardcore bands that used to play around here.
They were more on the metal side so they wouldn't get a great responce from the crowd, but they've really came a long way since then...
I'm sure they have quite the following these days.
I remember first time I saw one of there CD's in FYE or something, I was like

I saw them in 2003 at the Headbangers ball tour with Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God, and God Forbid. (I was there for Shadows Fall mainly.. but walked away a big Killswitch fan as well!)

It was a great show in a small venue, so I was probably about 3 people back from the front in the crowd.

i believe jason bittner lives in niskayuna. i took drum lessons from him at drome sound a couple years ago. the guys fuckin amazing on the kit.
