please tell me why you need a rear wing on a fwd car that is going less that 110mph on most tracks...im thinking not to worry about your wing because its not going to do anything like jesse said....id worry more about your driving. rear wings are for rwd cars because it makes downforce for grip...it will only make drag on your car it will actually most likely slow you down.
look into getting a front splitter it will serve you better.

I agree about Mugen's quality, but just from looking at the pictures above, the spoiler doesnt rise above the roofline and baaaarely sticks outside the line of the c-pillar. So it's not really in the airflow over the car, so it cant produce much downforce. It'll make some nice drag tho. Just my $.02. Steve J should see this; it's his area of expertise.

Unless you're going to be maneuvering at very high speeds, spoilers are pretty much just for looks. Mine doesnt do crap for downforce, it's there because the car looks stupid without it.
thats why i added the if you are going to track it part. no spoiler is useful at road speed.

I agree with you about the necessity of a wing, but for the wrong reasons, wings are not strictly for rwd cars. If you've ever looked at some aerodynamics diagrams and wind tunnel experiments, they're mainly used to create downforce, so having both a front splitter and a rear wing on any car is going to help keep grip at speeds. While the extra grip in the back may help rwd cars a little more...a well set up car aerodynamically can help a lot as well.

I think the reason we don't see it as much on the other drive vehicles, is that most professional race cars are rwd.

Even for FWD cars, downforce is needed all around. The only time a rear spoiler benefits a RWD car more than an FWD, is when the RWD car makes so much power to the rear wheels, that in a high speed corner it could actually break them loose if not pushed down. Otherwise, look at BTCC and GAC-ST cars. Almost all are FWD and have extensive aero work, front and rear.

thats why i said under 110mph.....i know that the wing help in the all over areo of the car but thats on a car that is going to be cornering at speeds of 80+ and that has have major wieght reduction which then it requires that extra downforce for cornering... i was saying on this particular car that its not going to do anything but create drag...
