Screwed by NYS DMV

To make a long story short, Deucey's plates got yanked tonight and I got hit with FOUR tickets.
-Driving Uninsured
-Driving w/ suspended registration
-Driving w/ suspended license
-Speeding 65 in a 40.

The only reason I still have the car is an understanding towtruck driver who dropped it off at my place instead of his lot.
Thanks to NYS DMV, who enjoys taking money from people and never lifting violations from their record for it, i'm going to get screwed here. Never got ANY notification, never got a damn thing from them telling me any of this stuff was going on. The uninsured thing I think I've got under control, but the suspended license and registration i'm kind of screwed on. I'm not even thinking about the speeding ticket.

Just needed to vent tonight. Spent thousands on this car to get it running, I spend thousands to race it on LEGAL venues off road and the ONE time I open it up on a deserted backroad at 1am, I get nailed with this crap.

If NYS hits me with ridiculous fines like they probably will, this will be the last of the MR2.
If anybody has a line on a good lawyer, now's the time.

Is this why I got a phone call at 12:43am? Slept right through it.

That sucks huge. Why was your license suspended in the past? How long has it been w/o you knowing?

Lemme know if I can help.

If you have the uninsured thing straightened out, should the license and registration thing straighten out with it? I am willing to bet the suspended license and registration happened because of the lapse of insurance.

the suspended license is because dmv never put it in the computer that he paid a fine...reg is probably because of insurance.
