ualbany is retarded
i don't think they understand snow removal. just went to go to class, half the parking spots are now covered in huge snowbanks making parking impossible, the whole lot is full. they have now had 4 days to clean up and they can't comprehend that students need places to park. needless to say i was going to park in a snow bank and just say fuck it if i got a ticket, well my truck wont stay in reverse so that plan failed so i was pissed, said fuck it, and left. and now i have to figure out why my truck doesn't go in reverse. not having a good day

It's not going into reverse because it's a Chevy.
Okay, seriously though, check your reverse lockout stuff. The stupid pins and pushrods [and other 1920's Dinosaur pieces] they use to actuate the reverse mechanism like to wear out and die.

i have no clue what your talking about
but yea this just reinforces my thought of selling the truck, if my truck is gonna break with 36k on it its not gonna be a reliable tow vehicle.

Oh shush. You're paying a fraction of the tuition of other schools and getting a good education so be happy. Albany, in general, can't plow worth shit.

all the guys that do the plowing are paid salary. As long as they show up and pretty much plow somewhat of the parking lot, they get paid for it. They dont care how good of a job they do.... Its like that at my school/work. At work Ive had to use 4wd just to get into parking spots as of late.

If you need a hand with the trans, let me know. I rebuilt my first 700R4 in 1991, and yes, I was 9. If you need any type of rebuild diagrams or anything, I got you covered. I have them for all vehicles up to 2006, and some early 2007s.
