'34 Ford Coupe
Worked on this bad boy today... 34 Ford Coupe, Hugger Orange, 8" Body Drop, 6" Chop Top, late 60's corvette 427 with tunnel ram and twin 650 carbs, th350 trans. car weighs in under 1500lbs... it's a burnout machine.
Me on the left in both pics, owner on the right.

i'm guessing it's way too loud to hear a stereo. how in the hell is that exhaust run? out the sides and the back?

He's coming back for the stereo, it needs upholstry work first.
The pipes running to the rear have mufflers. The pipes coming out of the side have removable block-off plates. You can see teh plate if you look close enough, they are silver and the whole exhaust is black.

Im sure thats what you were told by the owner but I find that hard to believe... Thats a ton of weight on the nose, even if it is the ultra rare aluminum 427.... which on second look it cannot be... the center exhaust ports on the heads are siamesed... indicative of a small block chevy... More likely it is an iteration of the venerable small block 283/305 or 307/327/350/383.
