There is no better vehicle than a Porsche. They're the most reliable everyday super-car that you can drive. Find me another car that one can buy, afford to service, and run whenever they like. In certain aspects, Porsche will never be a Ferrari. But it's not meant to be. If you could own ONE car...you'd rather own a Ferrari than say a 997 Turbo? I don't even have to mention the C-GT which is blisteringly fast absolutely stunning to look at. Our friends at Top Gear chose the C-GT over the Enzo . The 997 Turbo will outrun pretty much any Ferrari manufactured currently and will be a fraction of the cost, easily serviced in most areas, and VERY affordable to maintain in relation to cost of the car. Ferrari...pfft. I absolutely LOVE their styling, engineering, and racing teams. But as a car on the road, they are completely impractical. Unless you deem practical as 5,000+ service bills and having to take your car to a major metropolotian area to get it serviced.

Oh yeah, I see your logic... Old entry level V8 better than state of the art 600+bhp supercar...

Practicality? Go buy a minivan. I'm about performance son, who gives a damn about trunk space and oil changes. You just spent $200k on a vehicle, repair bills should be an afterthought. 997 GT3 RS vs. F430 Challenge.
Ferrari > Porsche. And I love Porsche.

Leaving August 11th. I'll be out the last time this Saturday night. I spoke with Jay/Justin/Cossey/etc.
The usual suspects best be there. Thanks for the memories guys. I'll be around. I am staying at my current job and working out of my home office 100%.
My new home in Bronxville, NY:

Ferrari for a race car...Porsche for the DD/back road burner. Although I wouldn't mind a 550 M..................
