We are looking to buy within 1-2 years. Starter homes (1700 SQ FT + 3-4 br) start somewhere in the MID 700K right now.

Bronxville is a VERY wealthy area. Dumb expensive to live there. Gorgeous area though.

It's a great idea for those that make good NYC money who can build equity and sell for a BIG profit and move out of there.

It sucks for people like me.

Median income for Bronxville a few years ago was near $180K. That's ridiculous.

Thats insane! I thought my wife and I were doing fairly well with about $110k household income.

Congrats on the place though, its looks pretty darn nice.

Yea. The place is amazing given what you get for that price elsewhere in that area.

My GF and I make more than the median and we still don't know how we can afford things. Just a completely different life.
