i hate you apple tv.
Well it looks like apple bets on people not having more advanced networks than a completely flat one. My iTunes cannot find my Apple TV because my Mac Pro is on my wired subnet, and the Apple Tv is on the wireless subnet. Instead of allowing me to manually input the IP address of the device, it insists on looking for it on the same subnet. This sucks. I'm not going to make my Mac Pro be on wireless when I have GigE everywhere, and I have no ethernet drop where the Apple TV. Grrrrr.

mikes got 2 types of networks in his house.. and the apple box wont let him switch between getting stuff off of the other network
