Well I will hold back any more statements until a few more weeks of Culpepper in the lineup. As Justin said, I think they will be fairly competitive with him in there.

Haha, thats what I am saying. They might be able to make the playoffs if every week was like this.

hey man you never know, that division isnt shaping up the way everyone tohught it would, by now looking at the schedule you figured the chargers and broncos would have lost one game each.

To be honest, taking all of my bias out of it, I thought the Raiders would surprise everyone this year. With the way the rest of the division is playing, I think they may actually have a shot at taking the division IF they continue to play Culpepper and Jordan gets healthy quick.

Well the Raiders blew it again. They were down by 2 with about 2 minutes left, with the ball and fricken Culpepper threw an interception. The Raiders keep losing it themselves, they are always in the game and then blow it at the end.
Time to bring in Russell and get him some playing time.

Yea, San Fransico is a tough team..........
I never said that the Raiders were going to have a better record than the Giants. I just said that the Raiders are going to surprise people this year and so far they have played fairly decent considering they have the toughest schedule in the NFL.

There is a seperate thread for the G-Men. Use it.
Raiders had several opportunities during the game but were not able to convert. Tough loss to the Chiefs who are all of a sudden atop the division. Crazy AFC West this year.

i know there is i just like busting balls...
who gives a shit how hard the schedule is.. this aint college no more.. they don't look at schedule toughness to determine playoof teams, they go by record which right now is showing just how "good" the raiders are
the only surprise i've seen from them this year is that they still take the feild and play the game like they think they actually have a chance of winning.. man if they only knew how wrong they are
i <3 bustin ceebee's balls.. he takes it so personally

Nah, I definitely don't take it personally. I just like arguing when there is a point to be argued. As Justin said, the Raiders had plenty of opportunities, they just could not convert. They are the number 4 rushing team in the league though.
I am not saying that schedule helps to determine who makes the playoffs, but it does in fact matter in terms of difficulty. If you have the toughest schedule, that decreases your chance of making the playoffs because you play better teams and vice versa.

How do the raiders have the hardest schedule? maybe coming into the season they did but no way they still do considering only one team in the division has a winning record.
