Well I figured I would bump this thread for all you Giants and Dallas fans to have something else to bicker about since you will always be at each other's throats regardless of which team is "better."
Anyway, Raiders have now won 2 in a row and are playing much better. Russell even got to see some action and did very well considering he was only in for a little bit. Next week is gonna be real tough with Green Bay, but if the Raiders keep winning maybe there is hope of them finishing at .500.
Fargas is playing good, i like him. .500 would be a good accomplishment for them, I tohught theyd only win 3 or 4 games.

Yea, Fargas is picking up the slack very well for Jordan. I think .500 is a little optomistic on my part, but they are playing pretty well lately and they are ALWAYS in every game, they just blow it at the end. I am hoping that they start putting Russell in a bit more over the next 4 games because Josh McCown IS NOT the future for the Raiders. (At least he should not be considered to be the future)

yeah they might as well play him, i mean there not gonna make the playoffs so get Russell some playing time so next year you can be optimistic and not worry have to starting the season with a guy with no experience. Kind of like the Giants did with Eli. His first year he started the 2nd half of the season and went like 1-6 but he got experience. Every season since then hes been in the playoffs. Practice is good but nothing will help him more than some live game experience.

I completely agree, but I am worried that since they are not mathematically eliminated yet they don't want to just throw Russell in there.
