And thats what this is all about, if he didn't break the record or wasn't even close, this would just be passed off.

NTM, I just like to ruffle feathers. Also, FWIW, Aaron hit 40+ homeruns up until he was 30-40 as well.
from what you are saying, he got faster (as in bat speed) as he got older without any drugs. That doesn't make sense to me.

Aaron was SUPER consistent and usually got mid 30s to early 40s a year and never hit more than 47 (hit 45 once, and 44 four times). He didn't jump nearly 20 HRs in one year. He hit 44 when he was 23 and then hit 40 when he was 39. Then went to 20, 12, and 10 the next three years, after turning 40. Big difference there.

if Aaron was on the Bonds diet (shooting juce in your ass) then he should have put up 60+ after he turned 40 and should have had well over 850 HRs by the time he retired.

I never said his bat speed got faster as he got older. I have asked for proof that his bat speed increased (which would cause the ball to go further).

Again, I brink up Sosa. He had a few GREAT years in terms of HR's and then he dropped back down to a consistant amount. Everyone can have a great year. Bonds went from 73(where is was 36 years old) to 46 and that was BEFORE the steroid accusations. He has not hit more than 46 since. Aaron had his best year at age 37.

no one increases their power/bat speed that much in one year when they are 36/37 without some sort of drug enhancement. Aaron hit 47 when he was 37 (his best year), but thats not out of the norm when he was been hitting in the 40s for years. Bonds goes from hitting 49 to 73 in one year... not natural.

Sosa 36 to 66 in one year AND he played more games when he hit 36. Do you think Sammy took performance enhancing drugs since thats not natural?

I believe 60-70% of all major leaguers have used roids. Look at guys like Brady Anderson who hit like 51 on year and ver hit more than 25 before or after that. Ken Caminiti, used roids, was average before, used them, won a mvp, went to the world series, average after................ now hes dead. I could care less about Bonds but the one stat I will say that points to his roids are. LOOK AT HIS FUCKING HEAD!!!!! Its 4 times bigger than it was 10 years ago, hes a freakshow. Baseball is a mess and needs to be cleaned up. Canseco is coming out of this smelling like roses because he helped baseball realize how big there problem is (not that i think they werent aware of it.)

I think all big HR guys form the late 90s early 00's were juiced. Mcgwire, Sosa, Vaughn, Anderson, Bonds, Palmiero (caught) to name the very successful ones. The ones we dont talk about are the guys who would have been career minor leaguers that have made average mlb careers.

Sosa, who gives a shit about him? Even if he did take roids, which he probably did, no one would care. He held no records and is in no threat of breaking any.

They gave a shit about Macguire and Bonds. Macguire admitted taking HGH, Bonds admits to nothing. At the time HGH was legal to buy in the stores, so I have no problem with Macguire. Roids have been illegal for a long ass time.

Yeah, he admitted to that but he admitted to taking that because it was legal, im sure he used roids. Jose Canseco says so anyways
