Pump station is ok, but IMO it's not even close to the Browns tap room. Back when Malt River actually brewed it's own beer (year and a half ago) they used to rate the locally made brews and it was always the same every year... Browns always came in first, then Malt, then Pump. I completely agree. They no longer do this now that Malt got rid of it's brew equipment and it doesn't make sense to rank only 2 places. I've had pump stations award winning beer (forgot whats it's called) many a times and was never really super impressed. It's good, but not as good as I would have thought.

I wholeheartedly agree that their brown (award winning) isnt what it should be. But Ill stick by my word of saying thier Pale Ale is pretty solid.

i friggin love microbreweries. i'll take anything they put out over a big distributor anyday. i also went to a hunter mtn thing and got hammered....made it a point to drink at least 1 beer from every brewery in attendance(32 i believe showed up). this one was a few months ago, so must have been a different one than mentioned above.
