LOL @ new recruit starting off as an E-6. The Air force does require a higher minimum score on the asvab, and some specialty jobs require higher than minimum scores to get those jobs. Im happy with the air force reserves, and have heavily considered at times going active duty. ive talked to a lot of people from other branches, although they bitch and moan were pussies and we got it easy, most of them admit they wish they went air force. anyone thats asks me if its a smart decision, i always say hell yeah.

there is one condition thats why...if your contract is up and you go back into the military...however if you were to re-enlist but not back into the marines, lets just say the army for instance you wouldnt have to go through basic training...liife for a real life example...one month my original recruiter was in the marines and then the next month when I came to the office he was in a army uniform and got promoted to SSGT and was recruiting for the army.

You only have a certain amount of time to changes branches from the marines before you must go to boot camp again

I've considered doing air force reserves, but I'm not sure I could handle the physical stuff, and I don't like dressing up or taking orders from anyone.
