Deer vs STI

Sunday Oct 14th

DA KING and I were out on a cruise in the STI on Raeley (sp?) Rd in Guilderland over by Albany Country Club...in a freshly detailed STI (curtosey Detailed Image)...when a deer on the warpath decided the he had it in for my STI. Deer sprinted, full force out of the woods...lowered its head...and literally rammed into the side of the STI. The deer hit the side of the car so hard that the car kicked out about 45 degrees and I had to countersteer and regain control as to not spin off the road into a ditch. Once corrected, we pulled the car over to examine the damage. OUCH! Entire drivers side needs new metal, the deer did a lot of damage...BUT! Once inspecting the car, went back to look at the deer. It was standing, alive...but appeared to have a broken neck. As it stood, its head was swinging down by the ground, flopping around...deer making HORRIBLE noises. It finally dropped dead about 2-3 min later on the side of the road. What a mess...now without the car until next Tues at the earliest as they just ordered all the new metal for the car. STI 1 dead deer, Deer $4,000+ in damage...Advantage deer

The officer told me that if I wanted the deer, I could take it. I refused it however as 1. I had nowhere to put it and 2. I'm not much of a butcher. Didn't feel like spending more money to get that POS broken down. He'd done enough in his miserable life already.

LOL! Yes, you stopped by for the party. I can't believe people stop and take roadkill...but I do because I've seen it before. Not just with deer...I'm shocked by the stuff people take. Weirdo's.
