I'm not into it as much as I used to be but I still have my old Kyosho GP-10 on-road and a newer OFNA Ultra LX 1/8 scale off-road. I bought some drift tires for the Kyosho at the Wall Formula-D event. Not so sure a rag-top Eclipse is gonna look right drifting but who cares.
I guess it's probably a little late in the season to be bringing this up anyways...
I've got a HPI RS4 Type SS that is pretty quick, but I broke some of the motor screws, and it needs to be fixed. I'm probably just going to sell it as is.
I had a 4-tec with a novarossi .18 that was retarded fast and uncontrollable... I also had an RS4 with full carbon upper chassis and shock towers, everything else was purple aluminum, neon yellow hoses and springs. that car was cool. I had a T-maxx with 2 .21 engines that I could never get to run right... and RC10 GT that did about 80mph, an ofna 1/8 scale monster truck, a few losi electric buggies, and a whole bunch of other crap i cant remember... oh and i think i may be buying a revo soon... came across a deal, waiting for him to bring it by...
All you have to do is put PVC tires on your RS4. I'll never go back to electric, it's like going back to fwd. My friend gave me an electric pan-car, I guess it was supposedly the best thing on the market at the time, some terminator something or other. I spent like $500 on shit to get me back into racing, raced it like 4 times and got bored with the annoying whine of the electric motor. I gave it all to my next door neighbor. Nitro FTW.
I still have my TC3. If you want I still have a LOT of unused shop space where we can totally set up a decent sized track, all smooth concrete. we can set them up for drifting and have some winter fun
