I THINK so. I think it's got to be equal on both sides of the gender. At Hartwick, the girls bitched that we had 1 DI men's sport (Soccer) so they forced them to get Water Polo (HUGE debate) and it was choosen for a lot of financial reasons. Even if its 1 sport, there's still the scholarships, coaching, facilities, etc.. that needs to be dealt with.

I wonder why more don't go forward? Must be other stuff we aren't considering.

Yeah i dont know much about the issue, theres gotta be a reason.

schools have to spend an equal amount of money on both gender's sport even though the male sports (mostly football & basketball) pull in all money and attention. At RPI, they had to spend as much money on the womans hockey team as they did the D1 mens team.... haha.
