Prove it's a stock exhaust and they have to drop the ticket by law. I had this same thing happen in my 944: got pulled over for loud exhaust, said it was stock, showed the cop it was stock via number on the bottom of muffler, still got ticket, went to court showed judge receipts/pictures/written information that it was in fact a stock exhaust less than a year old and boom ticket was tossed out. Grantid it was 2 hours of my life I'll never get back but I hate being called out/ticketed/fined for bullshit that I know in fact is bullshit.

Thats why they are one way streets, if you go down them the wrong way you get tickets, thats the way you work. If you dont know the speed limit is 35 somewhere and your doing 65 you get a ticket,. Just because you dont know how to read signs where you are doesnt mean they cant write you for it.

Im very good friends with drew, does that mean that I think cops should be bashed for writing tickets to people breaking the law? No. What if someone turned down that one way street and hit you guys because you were going the wrong way. That would be a foolish way to get hurt or killed. Im not rude, just stating the obvious. Who are you? Do I know you?

Unless the DMV is entirely responsible for everything you're going through, when you've done everything on your end to make sure they should've had it all in order.
I also remember getting pulled over in Green island years back in the mr2 for my BONE STOCK twin tip exhaust that says "TOYOTA" on the tips. The officer was convinced it was an aftermarket exhaust and I was patient with him, even when he asked me to get out of the car and search it. All he had to say was "we get the most violations with modified or sports cars and we want to make sure you're okay." Nope. He decided to bullshit me and then when I said "go ahead, I've got nothing to hide", he actually got lippy with me, as if he were determined to find something!
Yup, got that ticket thrown out and I heard him getting reprimanded about the search by another officer in the hall outside of the courtroom. They shut up when I passed by though. So much for honesty.
