Simple. Beer can be found with lower alcohol content, or somethnig flavorful such as a nice smooth stout or a dark lager. (May I suggest Belgian ales or stouts for later drinking and ales and lagers during the day). Switch from mexican to carribbean foods or south american -style foods, which are full of spices and flavorful but not spicy... (i.e. Moe's burrittos could be considered such, without peppers). Honey BBQ wings instead of buffalo, or lots of bleu cheese
and drink decaf or switch to Caff Free pepsi/coke. Or sprite.
You'll be alright man. There are worse things that you could no longer do, like walk.
Fortunately Im a huge Guinness fan which is very low in alocohol and is not carbonated...it has nitrogen instead, so we'll see how that goes...from what he told me it doesnt matter what kind of wings anything deep fried will give me hearturn, but you are right it could be worse...I'm not too worried about it though...once spring gets here I rarely drink anyway...cuz its time to ride the bike and I do not drink and ride...ever.

See? You'll be alright. If beer works out fine, then I think you'll survive. Damn good beers available these days from a lot of kickass microbreweries. There's hope still.
so I went in for my upper endoscopy this morning, still feeling pretty damn woozy, the doc said my esapogus is fine but my stomache had some redness due to the amount of stomach acid inside, so he will keep me on the 80mg of nexium everyday til my check up in april and then might make some adjustments pending how I feel. So no serious damage was done....yay! And I can eat spicy foods and drink again but not all the time like once or twice a month, he told me not to overdue it, so thats fine by me!
