East Coast Audio's Latest Installation
I'll be traveling to Greenwich, CT on Monday and staying there for a week to work on our latest project. The home is ~15,000 square feet. I will be running over 10 miles of wire in the home over the 5 days that I will be down there. We are installing an HAI full home automation system that includes lighting control, security, fire, and a Russound home audio system. We're running wire for Cable, Internet, Phone, and any other low-voltage wiring you could imagine. Each room is getting a Russond touchpad to select volume and sources, an ipod dock, 2-4 in-celiing speakers, and an in-wall subwoofer. There will be 12 cameras in the home, driveway sensors, 6 thermostats, and a whole bunch of other good stuff. We're putting 17 TVs in the house, including a 65" LCD in the living room with 7.1... As you can tell, I'm pretty excited!
Here's a picture of the back of the house (I couldn't get the whole front of the house without walking across the street... I was lazy)

The cool part is when I get everything in and start programming it in about 6 months... The HAI home automation system allows you to do anything you want, For example, if someone sets the alarm off, I can have every light in the house flash and blast death metal throughout the whole house at maximum volume, lol

nice man, Greenwich is fuckin money man. Its like in the top 10 in the most expensive places to live in the US. I saw in the news the other day some Russian guys wants to build a mansion that is so fuckin big it will have 25 bathrooms. This place is/was going to be huge but all of the Greenwich residents are trying to fight against it saying it is going to be way too big and that the guy is going to use it as a resort.
