yeah I would assume they do since they can afford a 400K dollar house. But it looks like the garage/entire upstairs is FUBAR. As we were watching it the entire floor above the garage collapsed and took the garage door down with it.
Heres the end result, although the roof did just start smoking again but I think they have it under controll. Luckily noone was home when it broke out. If you look carefully you can see the pieces of the ceiling that fell into the garage.
Yeah lightning rods are key in that neighborhood. Theres no tall trees and all the houses are pretty tall. The neighborhood behind it ,where I live, has tons of trees and I can think of a few trees that have been struck but no houses.
