I've been running 27psi daily. If you do some search on the Evo's 4G63 block you'll notice it's good to about ~500whp before things start taking a turn for the worse. The only thing I've ever worried about is the headstuds lifting...which the stock turbo will never flow enough air under any circumstances to cause. Hence why I'm going ARP with the bigger turbo

Stout motor but pushing the turbo to its limit typically doesn't leave much "room". I rarely worry as I run 20PSi or so on a MID 3XPSI setup. Car runs much much cooler/safer. But, bad shit can always happen. The meth makes things nicey.

I would like to see the % of posts you make where you mention your car, or the platform VS. the posts you don't.

Just to clarify. Yes: You+Me=Us. Great tune. LOL! No but really. They changed the design of the water passages on the IX head and this has helped make the IX less knock prone and while doing so they upgraded the studs significantly when compared to the VIII due to the addition of mivec.
