Thought Id post up our project car ( my dad and I ). My dad bought the car new, and went drag racing with it during the 70's. Back then, it was one of the fastest cars around here. Although not anymore. When it raced it, it would run 10.40's-10.60's @ 125mph. Were slowly getting it to run better, make more power, and get it driveable on the street. Cause right now its basically a race motor on the street. Theres still plently to do, but it all comes down to time and money. And right we have other projects that need to be done first. But every year, we get more and more done to it, and its slowly getting there. Although this yr, were gonna get the car running right so we can take it out. If your out this yr, you might see us out there as well. We wont take it to the track right now, for many reasons, but if you go to some of the car shows, especially guptils, youll see us there. I know the forum here likes fast cars, ( although Im not sure how many like the older muscle cars ) so Ill post it up instead of my olds which is slower than shit

Heres some of the only pictures I have of it. Really looking to get some good pictures this year while its out. Maybe a couple vids if at all possible.

But enjoy!

And if you refer to the 'power bragging' section under the thread dyno sheet, well heres what happens/what it looks like when you spin/smoke the tires on a dyno. The guys that ran the dyno thought of every excuse they can think of, then procceded to tell us that we'd be lucky if we saw 300rwhp. Obivously they dont know what they were talking about. But yeah E.T. drag slicks are in order, but just not very high on the to-do-list.

Ohh yeah, its all original paint with only 5,xxx miles on it!

if the car was strapped on the dyno correctly than it wouldn't have spun the tires like it did.

sweet ride
