i got 7k's according to drew and i'm completely fine with driving at night on back roads.. takes a little tim to get use to not having the high beams on my car but as for light output i don't really see a huge diffeence between mine and a set of 5k's and even dj's 8k's

Still, 4500K produce the most lumens. I think the 7000K-9000K lights are kinda ricey anyways. They're too blue.

My 6000K ones in the bike are bluish when they turn on and then warm up to a perfect white light. Even so, my 6000K produce less light than 4500-5000K.

how blue they are also depends on company and housing too. like all factory hids are 4500k yet they dont all look the same color due to housing. and i guess cheaper companies usually look bluer.

mine don't look very blue at all once they warm up.. and i'm not really sure how much more light i would need.. i already have a ton as it is between the hid's and my yellow fogs
