update on the 55 1st trophy too
well I figured I would post an update on the chevy. I ordered a edelbrock performer intake and carb along with a new aircleaner gaskets braided fuel line. Installed all of those over the past couple of days ( wife was pissed mad but thats life). I finally got my new windshield the glass company screwed up 2 times in a row sending me the wrong darn windshield 3rd time was the charm on that though so it is all set. Got the car inspected so it is legal now too! So tonight me and the wife along with her uncle my partner in crim in installing the parts went to a small cruise in car show and unbelievably we won best hot rod at the show. Needless to say I was pretty excited. here are a couple pics of what I got done so far!

pretty cool man
no offense....but what other cars were there competing against you? you have an awesome car to make a hot rod out of, but I wouldn't consider it a hot rod the way it is now at all.

well it is considered a hot rod due to the fact that the whole drive train has been swapped they did not even have a 327 SB in 55. I have a 327 lt headers small cam manual trans conversion shaved chrome etched glass cragar ss wheels etc etc. granted I did not do most of the stuff on it as it sits now but it is far from stock and there were about 20 cars there. I think they wanted to give a trophy to a different car than usual thats why we got it but it was still nice to get one over the kid with aluminum spoiler on the neon.
