The only thing that's throwing me off here is the fact that you're saying you're doing this somewhat from a performance aspect....you need to own up to the fact that you're basically FORCING a tire that is not meant for a wheel of that size on, this is purely cosmetic and has absolutely ZERO performance gain, and if anything is only making it more unsafe in high performance conditions...
that being said i think a nice stretch/poke looks fucking sick, especially on an SC...but youre basically saying itll give you more control sideways and that's simply not true.
also let it be known that i have the OPPOSITE of stretch as i'm running a 255/35 on an 18x8" wheel, definitely not optimal but i got a great deal and they're pilot ps2's...sooooo sticky, but predictable at the limit, and as some of you have seen, predictable past the limit too, dont make too much sound, and smoke like the dickens
cant wait to see this project progress and i really hope you wont be going sideways much on those wheels/tires...get some beaters for sure.

Stretched tires do have their performance value...while drifting. Let me explain....and this is all versus a standard width 9.5" tire. It lets you have a narrower rolling surface on a yet huge wheel. The narrower rolling surface in turn allows for smoother more predictable breakaway of traction at lower power outputs and speeds. A stretched tire also has less sidewall flex.
Ohh and I forget SPortmax are the Rota of the lexus community. These are my spare wheels.

Maybe for exhibition and recreational drifting but not for competition. You still need width for speed, especially in a car as large as the SC. You might as well pull those fenders as far as humanly possible cause you'll be needing 12's with a minimum 275 if you plan to keep up unless you put that thing on a serious diet. Even Ueno's old Soarer couldn't keep up with 10's.
