Nope you can't drift an automatic...So I have no idea what this AUTOMATIC 2jz powered GS is doing and doing good in this video.
I'm done here. Ignorance chaffes my balls
Chafes.
Anyways, he was on par with amateurs but if you consider that good, maybe you should keep your dream of going pro just that, a dream. There's a reason why no pro-racer in ANY circuit uses an automatic and it has nothing to do with conforming, it just has to do with PERforming.
There's also nothing unique about drifting an SC, I'm sure you just saw Ueno's. If you wanted to be unique you'd be in a GS. Whenever you want to come down off your high-horse we'll be here to guide you. 'Til then, you're on your own kid.

hilarious. If you're determined to let nothing stop you, by all means, go right ahead. I haven't said you CAN"T do anything you wanted to do. I've simply stated that there is a difference between doing what YOU want and doing what WORKS BEST. In this situation, maybe it's the automatic transmission. Maybe it's the amount of grip you WON"T have running tires that small. Maybe it's the fact that you still need grip [hello dynamic friction coefficient meets normal force...] in order to sustain long, controllable drifts at high speeds and higher slip angles.
But that's all irrelevent becuase youtube hosts a video showing someone drifting an automatic.
Don't lecture me on ignorance. You have to master competence before you can pull off arrogance and right now, you can't even spell "chafes".

I want a 1986 toyota Cressidia for my daily I would straight trade my 240 for one even in shitty condition as long as it ran good
My sister had one of those for a while, with low miles and everything. I will have to see if we have any pics of it around. She wrapped it around a tree though. (I am also not sure if it was an 86 or not though)
