As long as they didn't buy it from a private party, then it should have the warranty.
And my mother has the same vehicle, minus the customization, heheh. I was a little bitter when I was playing Need for Speed on the Wii and you could win her car and not my p-car  She got a kick out of it though.

that car was forsale at a dealership in latham by hoffmans playland not to long ago...looks nice in person..i just dont like the wheels or the stance of the car....but other than that its a real nice car
