Yea, it's odd, certain angles it looks like a monster truck and others you can actually tell it's lowered. It is dropped 1.5" but it may see more in the spring. The wheels might see some gunmetal powdercoat too.

Those wheels are really nice I had a set come through are shop in June. The car looks so jacked on the car because the wheel websites use a smaller tire to make up for fitting wheels with a less the perfect offset for a particular vehicle. If it were a 45 series tire which is recommended on the SS models it would look lowered and not skyjacked.

That's probably actually my fault. I chose the tire size because it was the closest to stock diameter since i can't re-program the speedo. I've been thinking about actually going a little wider, maybe a 225 width tire since these ones are a little stretched on the wheel.

A 225/45-18 is a recommend size on the SS I know they tend to skimp a little on the L Models for the Cobalt. The SS have a sport suspension but from the ones i see there no real suspension clearance issue with them. You should be able to do a 225/45-18 no problem. You would notice a speedo issue with that. That really only comes into play with trucks and suv doing 22"+ wheels.
