This should be much easier this time around. Plus, since I had most of the parts laying around, its so cheap to build. Machine work will be < $150 for honing and head decking, and then new bearings and rings are like $80 bucks for everything. You have to love a tuner inspired motor that is over-engineered from the factory
Yeah, I have a guy on Brighton-Henrietta Townline road that I go too. Bucky's Auto Repair. He knows his stuff, and the prices are very reasonable. He was responsible for machining my turbo manifold so that it would not leak any more last season
