That looks pink hehe. Salvage titles aren't impossible to register, but you have to get them recertified or something like that...

I was told never ever ever learn on a katana. Too light, get blown around on etc etc... or something to that extent, but dont listen to me, Im a girl and know nothing. But when I dated someone that used to do stunt shows etc and has ridden basically for years now and out of alot of people would know, him and his friends recommended no Katana for me to learn on, so he taught me on his gixxer 750.

I dunno about being too light on a katana....wind is wind, you'll get blown around alot if its windy on almost any sportbike. Katana's just aren't that great of a bike.

the salvage inspection is a pain in the ass, you need reciepts for everything that was repaired or replaced and all they do is check for stolen parts and check the vin...and it usually take around 6 months to get an appointment. The place is right down the road in back of mcdonalds/kohls

Well I kinda like that EX500 on ebay that I posted, but I am still not sure if I want to spend that much money. Maybe I should just wait til I can afford the bike I want, I just figured that I could mess around for a bit til I could afford what I wanted and I could turn around and sell the cheap bike for pretty much what I paid.

Any ideas of what it may be worth?

Hehe. Thats my friend Toni. And the peices that were junk...are in my garage prepped waiting for paint. So its not gonna be junk anymore.
Get an early 90's katana. They are apparently treliable bikes just are heavy and slow. Some people say its the best learner bike out there.

Ok, well I think I may have found another bike to look at. I found a 93 Ninja ZX6E for $750. The guy is apparently moving and the only problem he has listed is that the motor has a stripped bolt and is leaking oil, but he has two other motors that can be used for parts. He said it does run, but just leaks oil when its running.
What do you guys think? How hard are bikes to work on anyway?

figured I would bring this back from the dead and see if you ever found anything.
My little brother just picked up a 2000 Suzuki Banit 600S for 2800, seems to be a pretty solid bike to start out with.
Now that he has that I am even more motivated to try to find something. So keep your eyes peeled for me
