With his grieving family's permission, SFX is doing a vigil/ride to honor our deceased member Telefonica Rob who was killed last night in Penfield by an idiot who turned left into Target and cut him off. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His family is distraught as is the riding community and we need to make motorists more aware.
Please join us at Log Cabin around 7:00 pm and then we will do a calm and controlled group ride ending at the Target (441&250) at 9:30pm, vigil will be in the Target parking lot at 9:45 pm. Please spread the word to everyone you know who rides or who cares about moto riders. We are doing this respectfully and quietly, but hope to get bikes out in droves. RNews will be covering. If you don't ride come in your car. Show your support for motorcycle awareness.
Sorry to hear of the loss, it's always a shame to lose a friend irregardless of the reason behind it
This is why I build bikes and choppers but will probably never get back on one again myself. General traffic is a bikers worst enemy and unfortunately even the best rider can't control that variable.
