really? what else is available? I can definitely tell my bike pulls hard in the upper rpm's now, but is a little more laggy in the low. I was planning to get an air filter this winter also. People seem to recommend getting a power commander to help adjust things.

Mind you, I also plan to do -1/+2 520 kit.

I'm not a fan of safc, but I wouldn't call it completely pointless

the power commander is more than enough for most any person as long as the have it tuned by a competent person (Finding one seems to be the hard part). It has more than enough functions to make it a useful and reliable.

on another note what else it out there for jap bikes? Do manufactures make tuning devices for re flashing the OEM PCM?

The service Manager Ryan? He is good friends w/ my Mike, hes a good guy. He works w/ Sam Gage's bikes.

While I don't agree with an SAFC being a proper way to tune a car... I bought a used one and got a deal on dyno time. I gained 18 horsepower from it. In an NA four cylander car with stock internals/cams. It's all in how you use it.

graves makes an ems just for yamahas its what they use on the race bike and its 100 more than a power comander allows use of exhaust valves and intake secondary unlike the power comander where this stuff would be disconected

I don't see anything on here:

Graves Motorsports :: Yamaha R6 (2006-07)

Oh well, I'll have to figure something out!
