We use....Chain Wax...by Maxima racing Lubricants.
Maxima Racing Usa - Overkill but as long you are are using a chain lub/wax you should be ok.

if you cant see the fuel shut off then its right underneath your tank...thats where mine is so you have to lift the tank to get to it...i know stupid but it will be worth effort...and these arent stupid questions its obviously your first time with a bike thru the winter...ya gotta learn somehow

i didn't start my bike once through last winter, and come this year it started right up no problems whatsoever.

I will probably do the same thing I did last year... nothing lol

The only reason I want stands is so I can pull my wheels off and get new tires over the winter and get the rims powdercoated.

You can take it out and just leave it, but it doesn't hurt to have a battery tender on it.


Fuel stabilizer and getting the battery out of the bike or w/ a battery tender are your key things!

or you can just be like me and not winterize at all and ride year round...unless theres snow on the ground theres a good chance I might have one of my bikes out...

oh and by the way you could always convert your bike to a sled...a buddy i work with says theres guys up at his camp that have bikes that are now converted to sleds tracks and everything
