People dying is always tragic. If someone breaks the law and dies I definitely have less sympathy. (I am not saying he was breaking any laws, but that writeup tells you nothing). There is way too much that one can leave to the imagination without any details.

Ignorance is bliss. I hope that some day you will learn from your mistakes my friend. Regardless of the circumstances, regardless of how less sorry you feel; Brandon is dead, is not coming back and will never be able to correct his.

To his family and friends who will not find it easy to smile around a name of some one they love for some time, who will have to look at a 23 year old boy facing them from a casket and who will shed many tears over good memories, you are in my prayers.

Well said RJ, I did not know Brandon well on a personal level but I have talked to him here and there for a couple years and met him at a show a couple years back. He seemed like a good guy, good head on his shoulders, and plans for his future. MY prayers and thoughts are with his family and friends...

You guys are blowing this way out of proportion. I do feel sorry that someone so young passed away and I do feel very sorry for his friends and family, especially since they had no control over the circumstances.

I'm not sure in proportions how big death is. In fact I wasn't sure you could measure death in any way. Once you get some sort of measurement down you let me know because I am very interested to see how little some one else's death could mean to some one still breathing.

You guys are ridiculous, you are completely misunderstanding me. You mean to tell me that if someone died from attempting to kill someone else you would feel bad for the guy? Obviously that is an extreme example, but all I am trying to get at is that there are some cases where I feel less sympathy for someone who dies depending on circumstances.

Well thank you for sharing that you are less sympathetic about Brandon's death because it could possibly have been his fault.

I'm sorry for being so dramatic here but damn dude. wtf.

I said IF it was something stupid I would feel less sympathy, I am not assuming it was. If he just motoring along at the speed limit and spun out on gravel or something that is obviously extremely tragic and something that you can't always be prepared for.

I feel bad regardless, I shouldn't have mentioned it the way that I did, but I didn't mean any disrespect to anyone. I have already admitted that I don't know exactly how it went down, but just think for a minute, if he was hauling at well above the posted speed limit around corners or what have you and ended up killing someone that was riding a bike or walking, just try and imagine that.

That is what I am trying to get at with this whole thing, is that a lot of the time doing stupid things put other peoples lives at risk, not just your own....

I don't know him at all so I have no idea of anything about him, so I do feel bad that he died at such a young age. Please don't think its that I don't feel bad.

sucks to lose another ider, newb or not.. please all bikers be careful.

xceeb, I see what your saying, a a few could feel teh same, but I guess what they prolly want to say is leave that kinda comment out unless you do infact know exact details. Then you could go on and say, look no one deserves to die, but let it be known that BIKES are NOT TOYS as they are callled that, they are dangerous two wheeled machines. and lot of people think ohh wow fast and fun, and not many people say look becarful.

(this has nothing to do with acusing this guy of doing anything wrong)
Bike size does not matter ina death either, its the brains of the person who rides it. They chose to pull that throttle when and where and how much.

an example to what xceeb is saying with KNOWING THE FACTS:

Lets say you have a crack selling friend, we all know crack is bad and beaing a dealer can get you in trouble, guy gets shot for his supply, do you feel bad for the guy selling crack? even though he is selling this to probably kids?

Not knowing the facts
Guy gets shot, do you feel bad for your friend that you didn't know was a drug seller??

end/

And my point is we all make mistakes in our life but now we are talking about some ones death. Obviously this is an public automotive forum and not a funeral home but there is still no reason for some one to show they are apathetic a friend is dead, regardless if he is your friend or not. Regardless of our mistakes no one truly deserves to die. One of the greatest things the human race has that we have come to over look is our amazing ability to learn. Brandon was a intelligent guy and would have gone far in life but one bad decision and now he is dead. Instead of showing a little respect and saying at least nothing at all we want to say what might effect the reason why we could care if he died?

This makes me feel like we are in grade school when the teacher would say "if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all" only then we were children and were picking on some one still breathing.

The idea of resting in peace is getting a little butchered here.
