ROFL: Lebanon Valley's "F.A.S.T" category.
Note the little advertisement for "F.A.S.T" on the bottom.
Real stock looking cars pulling 11's and 12's!!! WOW!!! OMFG REALLY?!?!!
Can an EVO or STi with bolt ons enter? How about a bone stock looking 3000gt? Turbo civic hatch with stock exterior?
Oh wait. 11's and 12's are fast when v8's are running, but disappointing when imports are running. I didn't get the memo.

Maybe they finally realized the old "there's no replacement for displacement" adage doesn't quite ring true anymore.

F.A.S.T. means Factory Appearing Stock Tires. They can do anything else that they want, but must remain stock looking and run the stock tire size. And 11 and 12 second isnt exactly slow, but its not very quick.

Pretty lame if you ask me. I can think of a few guys off of here alone that could enter and do very well in the FAST meet.

Too bad I don't have the Camaro anymore... Looks like a V6 RS with IROC Wheels... ran high 11's.

Umm, you guys have no clue
These are old muscle cars that are mostly stock. They run this class around the united states from what I hear. No power adders, motors appear stock. These are not heavyily built cars. Most run old school redlines and some other shitty tires

Here I am thinking that you can have a bone stock suspension and body and a monster motor under the valvecovers, but you can still run.
It's all well and good that musclecars can do it on old shitty [read: Original] equipment, but the description doesn't say half of that.

F.A.S.T. = Factory Appearing Stock Tires
What the class is, is that your car has to look like it would have came from the factory. The body of the cannot be altered at all. The tire sizes must be stock. You must run the stock size tire.
The engine, drivetrain, suspenion etc etc etc can all be altered to be whatever you would like, As long as it meets NHRA rules.

Man, the cars of today would absolutely murder the cars of yesterday if they were allowed to run at this event.
